23 June | 08:00am - 10:00am
The 23 June marks the one year anniversary since the UK voted in favour of leaving the EU. Along with the Surrey Chambers of Commerce we are running a follow up to our Brexit Breakfast, in order to re-visit some of the challenges businesses are facing, and to provide a practical guide to what businesses should be doing and thinking about now article 50 has been triggered.
There will be the opportunity to discuss with other business leaders your thoughts on the long term planning for policy, development, and the economy, and more specifically access to the European Economic Community Common Market for British businesses, procurement, regulations and freedom of movement.
Mike Spicer, Director of Research and Economics at the British Chambers of Commerce will also be sharing his views on the challenges business are facing, and what can be expected during in the Brexit negotiations. Mike directs the BCC’s policy research and survey programme, and represents the BCC externally on business policy and matters relating to local economic development.
