Leading on sustainability communications

With the circular model allowing manufacturers to increase the life cycle of a product, reduce waste and optimise water consumption, while simultaneously optimising supply chains to build a sustainable business model, the circular economy is a crucial component in tackling the climate crisis and other environmental challenges.

We creatively supported DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation with the launch of an industry-leading whitepaper, encouraging and supporting businesses in the fashion and consumer electronic sectors, to move towards a circular model, and to show how DHL is leading on sustainability in logistics.

The paper calls for collaborative action and takes a profound look at how fashion and consumer electronics industry, considered to have the most significant impact when pushing for circular economy, can help with these challenges. The whitepaper was targeted to current and prospective customers of DHL, primarily those responsible for logistics management or sustainability initiatives within the business.

Our approach to sustainability communications

The key visuals demonstrate circularity and the components that sit within that model (recycle, refurbish, resell and repair), with a focus on the fashion and consumer electronics sectors while maintaining consistency with previous whitepapers in other key sectors. The high quality imagery also enabled our client to plan out the user journey.

We developed the front cover of the whitepaper in a way where the key visual could then be broken down into key elements which visualised each of the chapters and were used separately for the chapter dividers as well working well holistically to tell the story of the content of the whitepaper as a lead image.

Once the creative route had been developed, we produced a range of assets to support the launch including web visuals, social media assets, email marketing visuals, internal comms channels assets and posters.
