With global e-commerce sales set to grow to £28 billion by 2020, international express specialists DHL Express are in a strong position to help British businesses grow overseas. To encourage SMEs to grow their international sales, we devised a lead generation strategy that took users on a digital journey. An engaging animation told the story of the opportunities export brings, encouraging viewers to grow global; this was supported with a number of GIFs and images, which were shared on social media in a tactical phased approach, moving users from a cold to warm audience. All campaign assets linked to a campaign landing page where a clear lead generation form captured interested users’ details. The video has now received more than 115,000 views on YouTube.
