Celebrating sustainable fashion
DHL Sponsorship UK x Naeco
Each year, DHL sponsors the Fashion Potential Award during London Fashion Week as part of its broader strategy aimed at showcasing its leadership in ecommerce to the fashion industry. DHL Sponsorship wanted to celebrate NAECO, the winner of their Fashion Potential Award, while highlighting the fashion brand’s sustainable practices.
The award is designed to recognise and support emerging talent in the fashion industry, providing a platform for upcoming designers to showcase their creativity and innovation, while giving a particular focus to fashion brands that are leading on sustainability.
As the winner of the award, we created a video that effectively communicated NAECO’s commitment to sustainable fashion and the impact that winning the award had on their growth.
We needed to ensure that the video showcased the brand’s story and mission in a way that would resonate with the target audience – fashion industry professionals and potential DHL customers.
The video, primarily shot on location at Bournemouth beach, tells NAECO’s brand story, from its origins through to winning the award and the impact that DHL had on the growth of the business. The video features interviews with the founder of NAECO, who shared his commitment to fighting plastic pollution in our oceans and explained how their clothing range is made from eco-friendly, recycled plastic fabric.
To highlight the role of DHL in supporting NAECO's growth, we included insights from DHL representatives who spoke about the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry and DHL's commitment to helping brands like NAECO achieve their goals.
Making a meaningful difference
The video, while showcasing the beautiful yet environmentally threatened landscape of the UK’s southern coast, exemplifies the positive impact that sustainable fashion practices can have and the importance of supporting brands that prioritise environmental impact.
